Hosted by our in-house, award-winning Chef Kevin Fonzo, this collection of journeys was named after his catchphrase, you guessed it, COOK NICE!
With a passion for fun and engaging cooking, Chef Fonzo takes guests abroad for a week of immersion into local markets, farms, food, and of course, daily cooking classes. Held at one of our private Greek estates, unpack once and enjoy daily food-focused experiences combined with much laughter, new friendships, and incredible cuisine.

Welcome to Mykonos, Greece

Accompanied by breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea from our estate, you can look forward to pampering and comfort from the moment your 'Cook Nice: Mykonos' journey begins. From this paradisal setting, five cooking classes with Chef Fonzo and our local Mykonos Chef will be held. Each morning will begin with a trip to a nearby farm or market with the Chef, upon returning to the estate for the days cooking class - with a glass of bubbly in hand, of course! This is followed by lunch and an optional (as always) tour or activity during most afternoons.
On the menu, expect to find some of the Greek classics, such as tzatziki (the iconic yogurt, cucumber, and garlic sauce), Greek salad, tomato fritters, shrimp saganaki (cooked in a tomato sauce), and moussaka. On our ventures to local farms, you will have the opportunity to learn about the making (and taste) of Tyrovolia – among the best on the island – and Xinotyro cheeses. Chef Fonzo and his Greek counterpart will include more regional recipes, with a focus on seafood and home-grown produce.

During this entertaining program, wine tastings, sailing the island aboard our private catamaran, guided tours of the beautiful old town, and even a full day visit of the legendary island of Paros involving indulging in exquisite pastries and wines will be included. Evenings are spent at the estate, enjoying divine Greek-inspired dinners prepared by Chef Fonzo. However, twice during the week, we will head to our favorite local eateries for dinner, including an extraordinary sushi experience with a superstar chef and entrepreneur, Nobu Matsuhisa. Back at the estate, an open bar is available throughout the journey, with all your favorites stocked up.

Should this journey not sell out by January 31, 2021, your deposit will be returned in full or AIV will propose alternative dates.
