ITINERARY

All activities are optional in attendance

Day 1: Welcome to Provence

Welcome to Provence. You are whisked away to your home for 7 nights. After settling in your quarters, join your host for a typical Provence aperitif, followed by a traditional dinner on the terrace.

Day 2: Gordes - Avignon

Today, we invite you to join us for a visit of the local area: Gordes (including the village), the town of Avignon (and the Pope's palace) as well as the Abbaye de Senaques and its lavender fields. Dinner at the property with dishes from Provence, carefully prepared by our executive chef.

Day 3: Cooking class, lavender distillery and honey farm

This morning, we depart for Aix en Provence where Chef Gilles shows us the local market before heading out for a wine tasting at the bottom of famed Montagne St Victoire (thank you Cezanne), and ending with a cooking class in the middle of the guarrigue. We then make our way to Cassis, on the coast, where we enjoy a stroll of this beautiful sea town, and a sea-food dinner before returning home.

Day 4: Cassis - Aix en Provence - Yacht cruise

This morning is at leisure (feel free to use one of our bikes for a stroll to the local village or to join Chef Fonzo for a morning walk through local markets). Our lunch takes place in a local lavender field in the form of a picnic prepared with love by our chef. After freshening up, we depart for for the Chateauneuf du Pape and Gigondas areas where we are expected at two wine estates for a tasting & tour . The second one will be followed by a dinner, with wine pairings, at the famous l'Oustalet restaurant in Gigondas.

Day 5: Chateauneuf du Pape - Gigondas

After a morning at leisure, we make our way to the Sault region, in the heart of Provence. Take pictures of the countless lavender fields before we stop at a lavender distillery. We then hold a picnic in one of the fields. We spend the rest of the afternoon sailing the incredible Gordes du Verdon, and its clear blue waters.

Day 6: Cooking class at the villa

This morning, we join Chef Fonzo at the Roussillon market where we shop for today's cooking class ingredients. Upon return at the villa, we put you to work and enjoy the fruits of your labor by the pool, holding a nice glass of rose. This afternoon, we pay a visit to a local cheese maker. Provence is known for its incredible goat cheeses. Dinner will be served at Le Mas Tourteron, Elizabeth Bourgeois' famous restaurant in Gordes.

Day 7: St Remy de Provence - Les Baux de Provence

Enjoy your last morning at leisure at the property. This afternoon, we depart for St Remy de Provence and Les Baux de Provence. A trip to the region would not be complete without seeing first hand some of the sites (and sounds) that inspired the likes of Van Gogh, Cezanne or Matisse. Our farewell dinner is served by the pool, Provence inspired and carefully prepared by chef Kevin Fonzo.

Day 8: Take the opportunity to extend your stay

Airport transfers are organized, or extend your stay beyond Provence
