Wesley Lotz

Travel Concierge

Originally from Pietermaritzburg in Kwa-Zulu Natal, Wesley completed high school in 2003 and attained a Food & Beverage Management Diploma, before entering the world of hospitality and hotels where he worked for 13 years. He enjoyed working and living in beautiful places all over South Africa, including Durban, the Drakensberg, Magaliesburg, the Free-State, Gauteng and finally settling down in Cape Town. He has always been guest-centric, finding fulfillment in ensuring every guest expectation is not just met, but blown out of the water.

He has tried his hand at catering and events, being very active at a few of Cape Town’s food-focused markets. He is a music-lover and has a weakness for live performances. He enjoys a good book and is a huge fan of Patricia Cornwell.

In his spare time, he is an avid gardener (sometimes a touch excessive), enjoys unique and exciting activities, visits markets, cooks to de-stress, enjoys his wine and spends time with his 4 dogs and cat. He has also recently discovered the joys of restoring and modernizing antique furniture!

Joining Art in Voyage was a natural progression, as he gets to create memorable experiences for guests while on their travels. Wesley is caring and passionate, which certainly helps a lot when it comes to his job as Travel Concierge - as he always puts the needs of his guests first. He is kind and will always go the extra mile for his colleagues as well as his guests. He is passionate and the fire inside him refuses to back down for what is right.

His dream travel destinations are focused on food and rich culture – India(to experience all the wonderful spices), Italy (again, for the food!), and Spain…..
