Afterward, we will visit L'Isle sur Sorgues, bustling with antique markets. As the day draws to a close, visit one of the local wineries, before dinner is served by Chef Fonzo.
This morning you will accompany our Chef to a nearby market in Cavaillon. The large market encompasses everything from local produce of the surrounding farms, to antiques and clothing. Our Chef will conduct a unique cooking class at the villa, and after lunch, we visit the town of Roussillon, which is often compared to Santa Fe, in Mexico. Our Chef will serve dinner at the villa, paired with local wines.
Today we visit some of the best wineries in Provence. Beginning in Gigondas, we will indulge in a tasting, after which lunch will be served at the Michelin-star l'Oustalet (included). Our tour continues to a chateau in Châteauneuf du Pape for another wine tasting and visit of the cellars. As the sun sets, dinner will be prepared with wines from the Gigondas region.
After a leisurely morning, we journey to the area of Provence, iconic for the abundant, fragrant lavender blooms. The secrets behind the world-famous flower will be revealed, and a luncheon enjoyed in the heart of the lavender region. Have your cameras primed to capture the beauty of purple filled fields, and a lavender-inspired dinner will be served on the estate.
Mid-morning, we travel to the old capital of Provence, Aix en Provence, to meander through the labyrinth of markets. Hometown of our CEO, the town is famous for its fountains and art. After lunch, we head out to Cassis, a seaside location known for its cliffs and clear blue water canyons. This evening, Chef Fonzo prepares dinner paired with local wines.
Relax during your last morning on the property, and come the afternoon, we will depart for Les Baux de Provence and St Remy de Provence. Complete your journey to the region by immersing yourself in the sites and sounds that inspired Van Gogh, Cezanne, and Matisse. We will indulge in a tasting at a local olive oil mill, en route to the villa. Our farewell dinner and wine will be enjoyed at the incredible 3 Michelin Star "L'Oustau de Baumanière", on the steps of Les Baux.
We can either organize your airport transfers or help you to extend your stay beyond Provence. Assisted by our travel experts, you could take your love of food further north to Lyon, discovering the Camargues on the way.
