Welcome to Cape Town, also known as "The Mother City". After collection at the airport by a private driver, you will be whisked to the estate for cocktails and a light lunch. In the afternoon, we will capture the colorful homes in the former slave district of the Bo Kaap. Afterward, we head to the V&A Waterfront, where we will explore the remarkable African Museum of Modern Art. As the sun sets, enjoy cocktails and a tasting menu in a private dining room on the rooftop of the renowned Silo Hotel.
Today, we head further north, where every year, at this time, acres upon acres of wildflowers bloom across the vast plains and hills overlooking the ocean. Here, a brilliant palette of colors opens before you, creating an ethereal photo opportunity. Whilst there, we visit local tribes who warmly welcome us into their villages. In the afternoon, we take a ride in the cable car to the top of Table Mountain for an unrivaled 360-degree view of the sunset. Dinner will be served at the villa and passionately prepared by our local chef.
We make our way to the coastal area, Hermanus today, where we board a private boat in search of whales and dolphins. Along the way, we are sure to encounter seals and penguins frolicking in the bay. After a leisurely lunch, we make our way back to Cape Town, over the dunes, and via the famous Chapman's Peak Drive, where we will have the opportunity to capture the sun setting over Hout Bay. Returning to the villa, our chef will serve a Cape Malay inspired dinner.
The time has come to immerse yourself in an African dream! A morning flight takes us directly into the heart of the Kruger National Park to our friends at Hamiltons private Tented Camp. Once there, we will embark on our first African safari with a game drive and sundowners. Be sure to have your camera ready, as there will be plenty of opportunities to capture the Big Five (and more) over the coming 4 days. Dinner will be prepared by the local chef and served under the African night sky.
Today we will be treated to both a morning and late afternoon game drive. In between, a walking safari with our local rangers will give you a unique perspective, as you follow the tracks left by wildlife. During our time in the bush, our renowned photojournalist, Gary Bogdon, will provide classes and guidance to guests interested in expanding their knowledge. Every evening, we will spend time reviewing some of the best images, which will be published on our Instagram account. Delicious meals will be served on the property.
Today, we will track the Big 5, ensuring that all the majestic creatures on the list have been spotted. Finally, there will be two farewell game drives to complete your photographic African safari adventure on a successful note. There will be an opportunity to join another informative guided bushwalk during the day. We will celebrate our final evening in the Kruger National Park with an authentic dinner under the stars, where the calls of the surrounding wildlife will be audible and awe-inspiring.
This morning, we will make our way to the airport and take a direct flight to Livingstone (Zambia). You will be greeted by our local team and chauffeured to the property, which rests on the edge of the sublime Victoria Falls. In the afternoon, should the water levels permit, an exhilarating swim in Devil’s Pool is on the agenda. We will end the afternoon with tea and snacks on Livingstone Island. The day will draw to an end with a delightful dinner in a private setting at the Royal Livingstone Hotel, which overlooks the Zambezi River. As we dine, local people will provide lively entertainment.
Today is at your leisure. Your hosts will gladly assist in arranging a number of pursuits, such as whitewater rafting along the Zambezi River, a guided walking tour of the Victoria Falls, hot air ballooning, spa treatments, or a day safari to Botswana. In the evening, join us for dinner and cocktails on the Victoria Falls Steam Train. The journey will take you around the Victoria Falls, where you will briefly enter Zimbabwe.
We are taking to the skies this morning, but you won’t be returning home just yet! Instead, you will board a helicopter, where, from a birds-eye view, you are sure to capture breathtaking images of the Victoria Falls. After breakfast, we will bid Zambia adieu, and start our journey back to Johannesburg, where you could catch a connecting flight home. Or, you could extend your travel itinerary to include Botswana, Tanzania, Zanzibar, Mozambique or the Seychelles... One of our travel experts will eagerly assist you in designing the perfect extension to one of Africa's memorable locations.
