Welcome to Santa Barbara. On arrival at the airport, our private chauffeur whisks you away to your property. After settling in, join us for a private walking tour of Santa Barbara, combined with several food tasting stops. Tonight, we gather for a welcome dinner at our favorite eatery (Bouchon), paired with local wines.
Arriving early or the day before? Let us set you up with a private market tour and gourmet dinner with Bouchon's Chef Greg Murphy
Just before sunrise, your classic car is delivered to our property. We then make our way to Los Olivos where we enjoy breakfast before hoping on board a hot air balloon for a morning flight over the region, hills and vineyards. After this incredible experience, we continue with fun drives through the many vineyards of the area, which includes several tastings and a lovely picnic at lunchtime. The rest of the day is at leisure, as well as tonight's dinner.
After breakfast, we start our coastal drive. Along the way, we make several stops, including Hearst Castle on The Enchanted Hill of San Simeon. After a memorable lunch at the famous Post Ranch Inn, we cross the famous Bixby Bridge - one of the tallest single span concrete bridges in the world and one of the most photographed bridges on the West Coast. We finally arrive in Carmel, made famous by the art colony established here in the early 20th century. Our home for the next 3 nights is surrounded by wineries, in the valley. After checking in, a Chef's table has been organized, paired with lovely wines.
After breakfast, we depart for the Sierra National Forest, where you will enjoy wildlife activities including bird watching, hiking and horse riding. On your way back, we stop by Carmel-By-The-sea where we enjoy a late afternoon cooking class (with a glass of bubbly in hands, of course) followed by a lovely dinner, paired with local wines.
After breakfast at the property and a morning at leisure (check out the properties' amenities available to you, including their spa), we make our way to the wine estates that surround us. This is your last chance to enjoy beautiful drives at the helm of your classic car. Later this afternoon, our cars are collected and after freshening up, we make our way to famed Michelin-starred L'Aubergine for our farewell dinner, paired with lovely California wines.
This morning you are transferred to the Bay area, where you will catch your flight home (or maybe, extend?)

Incorporating the façade of the original 1925 Hotel Californian, this 121-room seaside destination features a rooftop pool and event deck providing panoramic views of the coastline and the Santa Ynez Mountains. Located steps from the beach and in the middle of Santa Barbara's vibrant Funk Zone, the Hotel Californian includes a luxurious Moroccan-inspired spa with hand-painted Moroccan tile, a fashion boutique, fresh and distinctive dining options.
Each of their luxurious guestrooms are drawn outside the lines, providing a unique experience within. The intricate details blend the iconic with the unorthodox to redefine the ultimate Santa Barbara experience.
Bernardus Lodge & Spa is ideally nestled in sunny Carmel Valley on the famed Monterey Peninsula. A creative haven that stirs all the senses, Carmel Valley blends nature’s majesty with man’s artistry. There’s no better place to tap into its small-town charms than at Bernardus Lodge & Spa. Tucked among 28 acres of rolling vineyards, orchards and gardens, we invite you to savor the intimacy of a stylish Carmel resort with an epicurean spirit and a soothing soul.
The property’s Italian stonework, mosaic tiles and French oak floors give it the feel of an immaculate ranch estate. Neutral colors (think olive and grey) are offset by pops of orange and fuchsia. The estate takes advantage of its picturesque surroundings with large windows, an al fresco dining terrace, and a smattering of outdoor fireplaces. Since 1999, Chef Cal Stamenov has wowed visitors to Bernardus with his locally sourced menu incorporating produce grown on the property. Classically trained under such legends as Alain Ducasse and Masa Kobayashi, he’s best known for his portobello mushroom soup and slow-rendered quail. (For a special treat, book the four-person chefs table, where diners such as Julia Child and Leonardo di Caprio have signed the wall.)
