Imagine a week of doing...nothing! Being pampered by a crew of ten and two fabulous Art in Voyage hosts, join us on our yacht as we sail the waters of the Maldives, hopping from one Atoll to the next. Jump on a paddleboard or a jet ski, or just lie on the white sand beaches lapped by some of the world's most pristine water. And then there are the massages along the way, the sunset dancing sessions, and cocktails on the beach. Not to mention the scuba diving and snorkeling, and the daily, optional yoga sessions. There will also be incredible cuisine prepared by our local chefs, using the freshest local ingredients and spices.
So we may have lied, it's not exactly "nothing", but does this not sound like a week in heaven, on earth?
Allow your worries to dissipate over the next week. Deciding between a cocktail or glass of wine, paddle boarding or kayaking and a massage or facial will be the only decisions you make on this journey. Limited to 16 guests, this private Art In Voyage yacht will show you to the best islands.
Our luxurious yacht has a crew of ten incredible individuals that set the scene for the most spectacular week. Live the grand celebrity lifestyle, hosted by our luxe experts and pampered by our attentive staff who serve the best Indian-inspired cuisine prepared by our local chefs.
Upon your arrival in paradise, you will be welcomed by the AIV VIP team for a private meet and greet before being whisked to your yacht. It will be your home for the next week, which is why we recommend some time to relax, unpack and settle in. When ready, join us for a dip, a cocktail, and good conversation as we sit back for the start of our journey. Our welcome dinner is held on a private island, underneath the stars.
We spend today sailing the incredible atoll of Baa, and its deserted and private islands. Our day is filled with water activities, sunbathing, and snorkeling, or scuba diving for those interested in going deeper beneath the waters surface. Lunch will be served as you dangle your feet in the warm water and sip on one of your favorite cocktails. A day of nothing but relaxation and fun. Tonight, dinner is inspired by flavors and spices found only in the Maldives.
Today, we continue our sailing journey through the Atoll of Baa. Here, we immerse ourselves in a travel experience renowned for its awe-inspiring natural beauty and crystal clear waters. The fact that it has been claimed a UNESCO world biosphere reserve, comes at no surprise. After lunch, we stop at an exclusive private island spa. An afternoon of pampering awaits, with your choice of treatments. Tonight, another flavorful dinner is served on board.
We gently make our way to our next Atoll, Ari. A leisurely morning of sailing takes us through the incredible lagoons of Baa and North Ari, passing some of the Maldives' most colorful coral reefs. We stop along the way for a beautiful beach picnic with enough time to take a swim, kayak, or have a few cocktails. This afternoon, discover rays and various other local marine wildlife, should you wish to join the snorkeling experience. We end this dreamy day with dinner on the beach, soaking in the starlit sky.
We spend some more time on the south side of Ari Atoll, where the diving or snorkeling is absolutely divine! It boasts incredible 'Thilas' or underwater mountains, both within the atoll and in the channels. There are also four fascinating wreck dives. This area of the Maldives has become famous for the regular all-year-round appearance of whale sharks. Mantas and sharks are also prevalent at many locations, with Madivaru being the most documented site for mantas. Dinner is served on board.
Felidhu Atoll is a more isolated and less developed area than its counterparts in the Maldives. It offers fantastic scuba diving and snorkeling and remote, uninhabited islands and sandbanks. Expect a warm, friendly welcome from the islanders who always impress with their impeccable hospitality. For these reasons, Felidhu Atoll is a popular destination for safari dhonis and memorable trips. There are not many Thila dives in this atoll, with most of the diving being in the 26 channels on the eastern side.
As we sail towards Vaavu Atoll, we stop for lunch on a deserted island. Vaavu is the smallest of all atolls in the Maldives and the lack of people has given rise to pristine white beaches and stunning natural scenery. Even among the Maldivians, who are difficult to impress with turquoise pictures of paradise, these islands are famous for their natural beauty. Vaavu is also known in the Maldives as the best fishing spot because of its abundance of blue marlin, sailfish, dog-tuna fish, and giant trevally. Tonight, we hold our farewell dinner on one of our favorite beaches, dancing in the moonlight as we reflect on the magical week.
This morning, we have our last, yet delicious breakfast on board the yacht before transfers are arranged to the airport for our flights home. Why not extend your stay at one of our stunning private island resorts? Or how about taking a swift flight over to Sri Lanka to discover an island of wonder and mystery that we couldn't possibly get enough of! You are in the area after all, so why not make a delightful pit stop?
