On this journey we'll get to experience the Newport Historic Mansions Wine and Food Festival, all benefiting the preservation society. Hundreds of International wine makers, and many local regional and Nationally renowned Chefs will also be showcasing their talents through tasting, seminars, educational experiences and more.
Aside from an exciting event, we'll also experience one of Newport's most luxe properties that Grace Kelly frequented, before setting for a few nights in Nantucket to relax and indulge in our own villa with a local Chef ready to pamper your palates.
The Newport Mansions Preservation Society spares no expense for their annual Wine & Food Festival. You'll have VIP access to grand tastings with hundreds of wines under the big tents on the lawn of Marble House. Celebrity chef appearances and cooking demonstrations by national, regional and local chefs. Also enjoy educational seminars with leading food and wine experts.
Experience Nantucket by luxury villa. You'll be able to rest, relax and indulge in our private, hand picked villa. Wake up daily to breakfast as you like, and a Chef to create a delightful experience before you say farewell. Bicycles for each guest to explore the island and take in the crisp, sea air, while visiting the quaint village, scenic points and for local seafood when you get the craving. There is no better way to experience one of Massachusetts' island gems.
After arriving into Providence International, you are whisked away to Newport. After settling, we head to the Newport Food & Wine Festival for an evening of high style paired with fine wines in the stunning setting of the Rosecliff Ballroom and Terrace. The Gala is an elegant walk around tasting event featuring renowned chefs, exquisite wines, music and dancing. Revisit the parties of the past from a bygone era where dining and dancing were magical and a common occurrence in the Newport Mansions each summer. Enjoy Caviar and bubbles, spirited cocktails and cordials, delicious desserts and an ambiance of endless summer fun.
After a decadent breakfast, we head back to the Newport Mansions for their Wine & Food Festival. Today we'll have the entire afternoon at leisure at the Festival to taste hundreds of different wines, sample countless Chef's creations and experience cooking presentations, education seminars and other interactive experiences. Why not take a break and explore? Sample the local catch of the day, enjoy the Cliff Walk, or take in some of the mansions via tour. After everyone has had their fill of the Festival, more food await with a dinner paired with lovely..you guessed it, wines!
After breakfast, and while your luggage is transferred separately to our villa in Nantucket, we make a few more stops. our first one will be Newport's lovely town center, where we'll have free time to shop and explore. Then, we visit a local winery on the Aquidneck Island for a lovely lunch with wine pairings. Mid-afternoon, we board the ferry and depart on a 90-minute journey to Nantucket. Chef prepared dinner will be served at the villa, with wine pairings.
Today is your day. No plans, or itinerary. Enjoy breakfast, and let your mind be inspired to do as it pleases. Enjoy the heated pool or hot tub at the villa. Curl up with a good book in one of the common areas. Take a bicycle from the villa and explore the island. Your Host will be available to assist with transportation, lunch/dinner recommendations and act a concierge to book tours, experiences, massages, etc. Lunch and dinner will be at leisure.
Today after breakfast and some time to pack or simply enjoy the grounds, we head out on a bicycle tour complete with a picnic lunch at the lighthouse, sitting on the white sand dunes. Later this afternoon, we embark on a memorable sunset cruise complete with wine, bubbly and light bites. During that time, our local Chef prepares a New England inspired farewell dinner at the villa, which will be served with some of your favorite wines.
This morning, after breakfast, you are privately transferred to the Nantucket airport for your journey back to Boston Logan International, or beyond. Not ready to say goodbye? A refundable deposit of $750 per person is due at the time of your reservation. In case of a cancelation at more than 90 days prior to departure, your deposit will be returned minus a $250 per person administrative fee.
Your final balance is due 90 days prior to departure, at which point your journey becomes non-refundable.
