From the moment you land to the time you (sadly so) depart, take that wallet and store it away. On this journey, everything (but the kitchen sink) is included. And once we disembark for your two-night crescendo in your very own over-water bungalow, we got you covered too.
On arrival in Papeete, you are met and greeted at the airport the Polynesian way (should you already be on the island, we will make arrangements to pick you up at your hotel, and give you the same treatment). We then board a short domestic flight to the island of Raiata where we meet up with the crew, our best friends for the next 7 days. There, unpack, become familiar with your floating home before we start our sailing towards the island of Huahine. After a lovely breakfast and morning swim in the lagoon, for guests interested, we embark on a fun outrigger canoe lagoon tour (I), followed by a picnic on one of the local reefs/motu Our Catamaran then starts its (very) short journey (at slow pace for those who want to follow snorkeling) towards the second part of the island (NUI – the bigger island) Dinner will be served at one of the local “shacks” (we mean this in a nice way), giving you a chance to discover the island's true hospitality. This morning, we take you on a pearl farm tour (I). We learn about their technique to grow pearls and even follow divers (for those interested). This afternoon, we have planned an ATV tour (I). Explore Huahine's lush landscapes and some of the most noteworthy sights of the island. Stops will include watermelon and melon fields, white sand beaches, the river with the sacred blue-eyed eels, ancestral fishing traps and ancient maraes (archeological sites) with a refreshing stop for snorkeling in the lagoon. Waking up to the sight of incredible white sand beaches and blue lagoons takes on a whole new definition. After a morning at leisure (during which we would be happy to set up tours, scuba diving and more), and a lunch on board, we take on a fun afternoon adventure: swimming with the rays and sharks (I). We even get to feed them and learn about these magnificent creatures in the company of a local Polynesian guide. The morning, join us as we discover the Faaroa River, Tahiti's only navigable river, by kayak with your expert guide leading the way through Raiatea's verdant interior (I). Then by car, you will visit the ancient marae temple at Taputapuatea, a recently listed UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Our lunch is held on a private motu, feet in the water. This afternoon, we visit an agricultural sugar cane rum distillery for a tour and tasting (I).
Upon return, we have organized for you a special treat for you. Enjoy a one hour massage or spa treatment at the award-winning Taha'a Resort spa, before we gather for a beach dinner with traditional dancers and fire throwers. Overnight on board, in Taha’a lagoon.
This morning, after breakfast, we start our journey towards Bora Bora which we reach after lunch. There, we have a special treat for you as we anchor in the Bora lagoon for some incredible snorkeling at what is known to be one of the best coral gardens in the World (I). For those interested in scuba diving, do so with schools of jackfish, big Napoleon wrasses, Maori snappers, barracudas, black and white tip sharks, eagle rays, tuna, parrotfish, spadelfish, moray and more. This morning, after our last breakfast on board, we slowly make our way to our resort, where you will be spending the next two nights, in your very own over-water bungalow. Treat yourself to a spa, enjoy some of the property's activities or simply relax on the beach. Evening and dinner is at leisure (and own account)
Day at leisure at the property Tonight, we hold a farewell dinner on the beach with traditional dances one last time.
Today, after enjoying a last morning and afternoon at leisure as most international flights do not leave until the evening. Mid to late afternoon, you are transferred to the Bora Bora airport for a short flight to Papeete International Airport.
