Andalusia is a concentrate of Spain. Flamenco, tapas, olive oil, sun, Mudejar architecture and so much more can all be found in this southern region of one of the oldest kingdoms in the world. Welcome to a true feast for the senses.
From the stunning location of our villa, to small villages and natural wonders, our journey showcases the main emblematic sightseeing and hidden gems of Andalusia alike.
Discover your exclusive rural retreat in the middle of Andalusia! This luxury hilltop estate boasts a truly soul-stirring setting, creating the idyllic gateway for a week of wellness, fun and discovery. After a long flight, you might start with a refreshing dip in the swimming pool before enjoying a delicious sunset welcome dinner prepared by our local chef and served on the terrace, overlooking the valley.
We welcome the sunrise with a morning yoga practice before a sumptuous breakfast. Later this morning, our flamenco expert gives us an introduction to this traditional Spanish dance, before heading to a local winery accompanied by a rewarding tasting menu. We carry on towards a stunning white village, Frigiliana, before visiting the Nerja Caves; one of Spain's most popular and spectacular historical sites. We head back home to enjoy a relaxing evening at our villa.
After our morning yoga routine and breakfast, we depart for the port city of Malaga. An exclusive tour guide leads us through the moorish area of the city, including the cathedral and market. After a typical Spanish tapas lunch, we enjoy a moment of leisure in the city before being back home for an end of afternoon flamenco class followed by a sunset sangria with dinner!
A light yoga session to ignite our senses will be a great introduction this morning as we leave for a 3-4 hour walk along the spectacular Caminito del Rey ("The King's Little Pathway"), pinned along the walls of a narrow gorge. We hold a picnic in these extraordinary settings before heading back home. For the brave, we will conclude the day with a "flamenco aperitif" before dinner and an evening of relaxation.
Today is hump-day! Time to relax at the property, enjoy the swimming pool (with cocktails or green juices), hike the surrounding hills, decompress with an extra yoga session or flamenco class, all at your leisure. Do as much, or as little as you would like. With the assistance of your host, you may indulge in additional activities (such as a massage or a local tour), which we would be delighted to book for you. Tonight, our dinner is held at the villa
After our traditional morning yoga session, we depart for Antequera, known for its ancient burial mounds, its centuries old Moorish fortress and its distinctive face-shaped mountain overlooking the city. After lunch, we make a stop at El Torcal de Antequera, a nature reserve featuring unusual land forms, regarded as one of the most impressive Karst landscapes in Europe. We conclude the day with our last flamenco lesson of the week. Dinner will be served at the villa
We start with our energizing morning yoga practice before heading to one of Andalusia gems: Granada. Located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains, Granada hosts one of the most renowned buildings of the Andalusian Islamic legacy: the Alhambra, an Arab Citadel and Palace. Welcome to a tell-tale Arabian Nights Palace in Europe! Our privately guided visit carries on through the narrow winding streets of the medieval neighborhood of Albacin before finishing with a well deserved hammam experience in the Arab Baths (including a one-hour massage)! We close the day with a memorable flamenco dinner show at the property!
The end of our Andalusian journey of renewal and discovery has come. We have organized private transfers to the airport. There is however so much more to explore in and beyond Andalusia! What about carrying on towards Seville and Cordoba, or discovering more of Spain. You may also decide to make a stop-over in one of the main European cities for a couple of days: Paris, Lisbon, Roma, London are between one and three hours by flight from Malaga! Let our expert assist.
