In Mexico City, two food worlds exist side by side: the restaurants and the streets. It can be hard to know which sidewalk grills, market stalls, taquerías, and cantinas to visit if you’re not familiar with the city. On our journey, we’ll whisk you away from the tourist traps and take you to places that our local resident guides know and love. We want you to connect with Mexico City in a profound way, by tasting the food that residents eat and enjoy. You’ll learn the food’s history, the ingredients, the how’s and the why’s.
Each of our culinary experiences has been carefully crafted with partners on the ground to emphasize the deliciousness of the cuisine, the richness of Mexican gastronomic history and culture, and the vendors who prepare the food.

And who better to lead a food tour to one of the most vibrant cities in the culinary scene these days than Orlando's own Chef Kevin Fonzo?

Welcome to Mexico City

Day 1
Upon landing, you are met by our chauffeur and whisked away to your home for 4 nights. After settling down at your hotel, we hold a late lunch at one of our favorite and most eclectic eateries in El Centro. We continue with a fun private walking tour of Mexico's main sites, all while enjoying some stops at local street vendors. Our welcome dinner is hosted by one of Mexico City's most iconic gastronomic restaurants

Day 2
Today, start with a tour of Colonia Roma’s Medellín Market with Chef Fonzo and our local hosts. We then head for our first cooking class (and lunch) at the vibrant and famous Casa Jacaranda with Chefs Beto Estúa and Jorge Fitz. After a full cooking class, guests usually appreciate giving their stomach a break, so tonight is at leisure with dinner recommendations provided by your host.

Day 3
Our 3rd day in Mexico city is bound to leave you wanting more. We start the morning with a tasting at Mezcal Tequila (Experience three distinct boutique production distillations & discover the incredible variety of formats Mezcal embodies). It is followed by a Tequila mixology class, an archaeology tour, and a food experience focused on ancient traditions and cuisines. We know you will need time to recover, so the rest of the day is at leisure. Tonight, we uncover yet another incredible Michelin-starred restaurant, paired with South American wines.

Day 4
Our last full day in Mexico City starts with an early morning and sunrise hot air balloon flight over the pyramids of Teotihuacan. We return to the city around noon where our guests enjoy an afternoon at leisure. Our Concierge team can organize additional private tours, or provide assistance recommending the "must-see" of Mexico City. We regroup for cocktails just before our farewell dinner held at yet another memorable Michelin experience. Our meal is, of course, paired with lovely wines.

It Does Not Have To End
