Damaraland Adventure Camp

Namibia

Between the vast salt pans of Etosha and the eery windswept beaches of the Skeleton Coast lies Damaraland, a surprising semi-desert that begs a closer look. Damaraland Adventurer Camp sits in the Huab River Valley, with views of the Brandberg Massif and scorched plains. This region receives just enough rain per annum to support a cohort of extremely well-adapted mammals, including elephant, lion, and rhino. Although the harsh conditions are a test for wildlife, they needn't put off travelers – the six-tent camp is outfitted with every creature comfort you'll need to make trekking through this wilderness a pleasure.
