This award winning, luxury bed & breakfast lodge is a designer's delight. Inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright, it is set within magnificent landscaped gardens overlooking beautiful Lake Taupo and the mountains. The creation of Lake Taupo Lodge began 30 years ago when Gary and Shirley, its owners, purchased 10 acres of wild bush in Acacia Bay overlooking Lake Taupo. Both are keen gardeners and Gary has a particular love of wildlife so the native bush formed the perfect haven for his love of birds.
The ensuite bathrooms have under floor heating and many of the executive suites have large baths as well as walk in showers. You will find fresh flowers, seasonal fruit, milk and homemade cookies are in your room each day along with a selection of teas and coffee.
