After breakfast, we embark on a private walking tour of Rome, designed to be fun, engaging, and at a leisurely pace. There's a special reason for this: we will stop at some of the local food artisans along the way. Your tour, carefully crafted to fit Art In Voyage's vision of a fun day filled with culture and history, will introduce you to iconic sites such as the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, the Roman Forum, the Colosseum, and more. Guests interested in visiting the Vatican will also be accommodated with an earlier start. Tonight, join Chef Fonzo as he introduces you to one of his top local trattorias, a dinner paired with excellent wines of the region.
You guessed it! Today, you participate in the making of your own lunch. After a fun morning going through some of Rome's most vibrant and exciting markets, we make our way to the kitchen of our local Chef who conducts a fun and engaging class. After lunch, the afternoon is at leisure. Be it to shop around or uncover more of Rome's ancient sites (with our concierge's assistance to make those arrangements), you'll have some time to enjoy before we regroup for an exciting Mixology class at one of Rome's vibrant bars. Tonight, join Chef Fonzo for dinner at yet another one of our favorites, paired with Italian wines.
The best way to end this culinary adventure is, of course, with more delicious tastings. Today, starting a little later than on previous days to give you time to enjoy an authentic Roman morning (or some shopping, no judgment), we will explore the famed area of Trastevere. We begin with lunch at a local trattoria, where artisans gather with their diverse products to create our very own meal. The afternoon features sampling some of the best desserts in the neighborhood, followed by rooftop cocktails at the Spanish Steps and our farewell dinner under the stars (weather permitting).
This morning, if such is your choice, you are privately transferred to the airport. On the other hand, why not extend a few days and pay a visit to Tuscany, re-discover Venice, spend some time on the white sand beaches of Sardinia, or even make a 3-4 night stop in Malta.
