Today marks the beginning of your wine adventure, and we have a special treat in store. You'll be spending the day exploring this enchanting region in the company of Tim. He will personally guide you through some of his favorite wineries, sharing not only the art of winemaking but also the stories of the estate. Prepare for a day filled with unparalleled insights, delightful tastings, and the scenic beauty of Montalcino. Back at the villa, dinner is served and paired with some of today's gems.
After yet another fantastic breakfast, we head out to explore Siena's charms during a fun 2-hour walking tour of the city, discovering its medieval wonders and cobblestone streets. After some time to walk around on your own, we head out to a nearby winery where we are expected for a delightful lunch. There, tuscan dishes are expertly paired with wines. After what will be a full exciting day, we head back to the villa, where the rest of the day and the evening are at leisure. This is your chance to escape our small group and allow our concierges to book you at one of the local eateries for a night out.
Today promises to deliver yet another series of exciting and authentic experiences. We begin with a morning truffle hunt, followed by a hands-on cooking class where we learn how to best use this famous and expensive fungi. It is followed by lunch paired with wines from one of the regions small producers. Back at the villa mid-afternoon, after the hard work comes the reward: a relaxing massage. We end the day with a dinner at the villa… if you still have space!
Today we dive into Chianti's charm with private visits to some of Tim’s favorite wineries, while relishing delicious local cuisine. Chianti is closer to Florence and thus we will depart early to make sure we enjoy, without rushing, what Tim has in store for us. We have planned for two very different wine tasting experiences, to include lunch. We stick around a little later than usual with dinner out, featuring one of our favorite trattorias of the Chianti region.
Being so close to Tuscany's lesser known (yet not any less impressive) region of Umbria, why not check out what it has to offer? There, Tim invites you to discover some of the region's celebrated wines. Along the way, enjoy the local cuisine, a perfect complement to the fine wines you'll be tasting. The day unfolds as you explore the picturesque landscapes that characterize Umbria, the green heart of Italy. Back at the villa, we enjoy another lovely dinner paired with some of the finds of the day!
This morning, we have set aside some time for you. Enjoy a late morning, or have our hosts arrange for activities in and around the villa (biking, hiking, horse riding, or a casual visit to local hilltop villages). Later in the day, embark on an exploration of another one of Tim’s favorite wineries around Montalcino. The day crescendos with a culinary masterpiece as we indulge in dinner at a Michelin-starred restaurant. Anticipate a feast for the senses, with each dish meticulously crafted to perfection.
This morning, you are transferred to the airport to catch your flight home, or to the nearest train station should you decide to extend beyond Tuscany. Our experts are at your disposal to assist in connecting post-journey plans for a stress and hassle free experience.

Wonderful trip with Art In Voyage. Billed as a food and wine tour through Tuscany but it was much more then that. The villa was fantastic and the view was out of a movie scene. Mikael and Kevin could not have more helpful and they and our group soon became like family. Beautiful country and a great trip.

Travel insurance, once purchased, goes into effect upon payment of the premium. You have 15 days from that date to cancel it (providing no claims have been filed or initiated during that period). Beyond 15 days, it becomes non-refundable/non-changeable/non-transferrable.
In case of a cancelation at more than 90 days prior to departure, your deposit will be returned minus a $500 per person administrative fee.
In case of a cancelation within the penalty period: Find a replacement at least 30 days prior to departure and your journey will be fully refunded, minus a $500 per person administrative fee.
