Join us on an adventure to explore the protected southern regions of Argentina and Chile, ending in Ushuaiaโthe โEnd of the World.โ Let's explore the land of the Giant and the majesty of Patagonia together. Ride horses on a working ranch, view one of the most iconic glaciers in the world, and experience the night skies and soaring heights of Torres del Paine National Park while glamping in style and luxury after a dayโs adventure. But the journey doesnโt end there. Board a ship to cruise the mystical Straits of Magellan. Witness the rugged beauty and towering mountains of ice as you navigate the turquoise waters by boat or trek through the glacial moraine in Los Glaciares National Park. Keep your camera ready as we cruise East through Glacier Alley to Cape Horn. Explore the enchanted forest of Magellan on foot before boarding to cruise to the last stop on our journey, the worldโs Southernmost city.
Spectacular views, ancient rugged glaciers, never-ending grasslands, vast skies, and crystal-clear lakes. Here, you just uncover and experience nature at its best, and it gives it back to you.
Treks and horseback rides through some of the most beautiful mountain ranges in the world. Kayak on turquoise lakes, trek in the shadow of glaciers, and explore the untouched beauty of nature while cruising through the Straits of Magellan.
Be welcomed to life on an Estancia. Taste the local culinary delights and experience the culture. Sleep in luxurious yurts underneath clear skies and experienced guided tours designed just for you.
Spend 4 days on a cruise through one of the most untouched places on Earth. Use the ship as a base to explore by boat or on foot. Capture moments that you will remember long after the adventure ends.
After breakfast, board the Zodiacs to set off on the Pia Glacier tour. Take a short hike to a panoramic view of the retreating glacier extending from the heights of the mountains to the sea. Return to the ship to continue our journey through Glacier Alley. Passing spectacular mountains and glacier waterfalls, keep your camera ready to capture the magnificent scenery and the changing light as the day fades.
After a night of cruising, we arrive in Cape Horn National Park. Weather and sea permitting, explore the tiny island of Hornos with the Cape Horn Monument that commemorates the many lives lost at sea. By afternoon, we land at Wulaia Bay where we set off on a choice of three hikes all through the enchanted Magellan forest which culminates in a spectacular viewpoint over the bay.
The last leg of our journey takes us back into Argentina, to Ushuaia โ known as the worldโs most southern city. The easiest way back to El Calafate is via Buenos Aires. Extend your time with us and explore the jewel of Argentina before heading back home with South America in your heart.
This once-in-a-lifetime adventure begins the moment you touch Argentinian soil. Be personally welcomed and see the first glimpse of the beauty of Patagonia as you are whisked away to the Estanciaโhome for two nights. Experience South American hospitality at its best as you spend the night wining and dining with our hosts underneath the stars.
Take a deep breath of crisp air as you wake up to the sounds of ranch life and nature. Spend the day exploring the Estancia in true Gaucho-style on horseback. Or, take a more leisurely approach and test out the 4x4 trails and explore the ranch on foot. Be sure to work up an appetite to make space for the eveningโs culinary celebration.
Bid a fond farewell to our hosts at the Estancia and head out to find one of natureโs most phenomenal features: the Perito Moreno Glacier, known to some as the 8th wonder of the world. Make sure that your cameras are charged and take your time. Youโll want to capture every moment of this breath-taking day. Tonight, we arrive in El Calafate where we have arranged for you a relaxing one-hour spa treatment before dinner (own account).
From el Calafate we hit the road and travel to Torres del Paine National Park. Set up home in Patagonia Camp, the first luxury camp in South America. Stay in magnificent yurts, redesigned to cater to your every need. Explore the many raised walkways and views overlooking mountains and lakes. Watch the day come to a close from the warm and welcoming restaurant while dining on some of the finest cuisine in the country.
Wake to awe-inspiring views from your private suite. For the more adventurous, thereโs a choice of horseback riding, trekking, or kayaking for the day. All in the accompaniment of a private guide, seeing to your every need. For those who would like some rest and relaxation, spend the day at camp recharging. Go fishing or take a stroll on one of the many self-guided walks, spend time reading in the cozy lounge or just be in the moment among nature in all its splendor.
Take the opportunity to explore more of Torres Del Paine on horseback, on foot, or from the water. Your private guide will be there to help you experience it to the full. Or spend the day in luxury, unwinding and enjoying the time surrounded by peace and tranquility. Make every second count and stay up late enjoying the warmth and comfort of the restaurant and company while watching the changing face of the mountains at night.
The next phase of our journey starts with a road trip south to Punta Arenas. Board the ship and enjoy a welcoming toast from the captain and crew. Spend time exploring the ship or watch the ever-changing scenery go by as we set sail through the fjords of Chile.
Our ship takes us through the expansive Seno Almirantazo Ford, the first marine protected area in Chileโs Tierra del Fuego. Home to a myriad of species including elephant and leopard seals, and Magellan Penguins. Dock at Ainsworth Bay and take part in one of two guided excursions through one of the most protected areas in Chilean Patagonia. After lunch, explore the Tucker Islets aboard a Zodiac. Get up close and personal with the thousands of penguins that call it home. If youโre lucky, you may even encounter a pod of dolphins or orcas.

Tailor-made for exploring the remote southern tip of South America, all aspects of the 210-passenger ship -- including size, length, draft and engine power -- are designed to give Ventus Australis the extreme maneuverability necessary to navigate narrow fjords and channels where no other cruise ships can venture.
Asenav, the internationally acclaimed Chilean shipyard, is creating our latest masterpiece, just as they did with the three other expedition ships for Australis.

For an experience of estancia-style romance, though without stinting on mod cons, home comforts and gourmet food, youโll struggle to find a more inspiring setting. The five bungalows have four rooms each, named after local flora and fauna. The bedrooms are well heated and carpeted, brightly illuminated and airy, with window seating and two comfy chairs placed to enjoy great views through the bay window. Furniture such as bedside cabinets and trunks is plain and rustic, by design.
Chef Francisco and his team prepare exquisite buffet lunches and ร la carte dinners; typical dishes include pasta with lamb ragout, ribeye steaks, grilled trout and veggie quiches. A lamb barbecue is offered every other day, with lots of sides. Delicious salads, using leaves grown on site, are welcome if youโve been overdoing the empanadas and meat elsewhere. Lunch and dinner are served in the octagon-shaped main house, where the mood hits the sweet point between casual and intimate/romantic once the sun goes down.
