Start the day biking through Binh Thanh mat weaving village, passing local markets, fruit plantations, and fish farms. Alternatively, visit Sa Dec to explore vibrant markets with our chef, the Lover House, and Kien An Cung. In the afternoon, head to My An Hung village to stroll through lush plantations and enjoy local fruits at a villager's home, accompanied by folk songs and a Unicorn dance. For adventurers, a 17-kilometer bike ride offers a scenic countryside experience.
Travel by skiff along Bassac Canal to the vibrant border town of Chau Doc where we’ll take a rickshaw called xe loi for a ride around the local village and market. We head off by van to Long Son Pagoda atop Sam Mountain. Ask the monks about their age-old Mahayana Buddhist practices. One option today is an 18-kilometer bike ride on Long Khanh Island to see paddy fields and get a snippet of local life. After lunch, relax by the pool, try a traditional Khmer massage, or learn to cook Mekong-inspired dishes while we cross the border.
On this river of time, we admire dexterous Khmer artisans dyeing and weaving kroma, the ubiquitous fabric no Khmer lives without. One of our favorite things to do is to explore the riverbank on two wheels, past Buddhist temples and thatch houses perched on spindly wooden stilts while white oxen wade just offshore. After lunch, we board our marine-grade aluminum skiffs and head towards the tamarind trees of Preah Prosop, a remote village little changed over several lifetimes.
After our last breakfast on board, we show off the Cambodian capital to our passengers by motorized tuk-tuk, the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, and the National Museum of Cambodia, home to the world’s largest collection of Khmer art. For guests staying an extra night, we suggest the Tuol Sleng Museum of Genocide or a stop at the Russian Market. For others, a private transfer to the airport is organized. You may choose to extend your stay by a few days, we suggest doing so in Siem Reap and would be happy to arrange your journey there.

Travel insurance, once purchased, goes into effect upon payment of the premium. You have 15 days from that date to cancel it (providing no claims have been filed or initiated during that period). Beyond 15 days, it becomes non-refundable/non-changeable/non-transferrable.
In case of a cancelation at more than 120 days prior to departure, your deposit will be returned minus a $1,000 per person administrative fee.
In case of a cancelation within the penalty period: Find a replacement at least 30 days prior to departure and your journey will be fully refunded, minus a $1,000 per person administrative fee.
