Arrive in Luxor, the ancient city of Thebes. Your receive private airport transfers after which you settle in and take in your first moments along the Nile as the journey quietly begins. Tonight, we enjoy our welcome dinner, celebrating Egyptian culinary traditions.
This morning, early risers get to enjoy a memorable hot air balloon flight over luxor. Later, we step aboard your Nile private vessel and ease into life on the river. On the East Bank, explore the Temple of Luxor and the vast Karnak complex, where centuries of history unfold in monumental scale. Return onboard for a relaxed evening as the rhythm of the Nile begins to set in.
Cross to the West Bank and explore the Valley of the Kings, alongside the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. At midday, witness a rare solar eclipse, as the light softens and the landscape shifts into an almost surreal stillness. Later, return to the vessel and begin sailing south, the Nile carrying you deeper into Egypt.
Visit the Temple of Edfu, one of Egypt’s best-preserved sanctuaries, rich in detail and history. Continue to Kom Ombo, a striking riverside temple dedicated to Sobek and Horus. In the evening, enjoy a lively Egyptian Night onboard, filled with music, culture, and shared moments.
Arrive in Aswan and visit the beautifully relocated Philae Temple, followed by the Granite Quarries where ancient monuments were first shaped. Later, sail by traditional felucca around Elephantine Island, drifting through one of the Nile’s most peaceful settings. The evening brings a refined farewell onboard.
