Mastrojanni – Montalcino

Relais Mastrojanni stands at the south-eastern end of the Montalcino area: the enchanting majesty of the Amiata valley offers visitors a unique panorama. Here, nature and the work of man merge in the harmony of vineyards alternating with holm-oak and oak woods, offering a unique view.

The Mastrojanni winery was established in 1975 in the Poderi Loreto and San Pio: ancient lookouts on an important communication route, from the top of the hills they have seen the flow of history from the Etruscans to the Romans; in the Middle Ages Podere San Pio increased its importance, becoming a fortified settlement to protect the important communication routes of the time, the Via Francigena and the famous "Via dei Papi". In 2011, the renovation of Podere San Pio began, a transformation that brought new life to the ancient hamlet in just a few years. After careful restoration of the structure, Relais Mastrojanni offers rooms and suites to its guests, complemented by our restaurant and the charming infinity pool overlooking the Amiata valley.

Here the simple and austere elegance of the ancient walls blend with the modern and linear design inside the rooms; bright rooms, clean lines and soft colours characterise the style of the Relais.
