Nag Shampa Estate

Ubud, Indonesia

Nag Shampa, meaning “Incense of Love” is located in the peaceful village of Taro, where the ancient rhythm of life, prayer and ceremony, established over a century ago, still exists today. Approximately 30 minutes drive from north of the mountain town Ubud, Nag Shampa Estate is cradled in a landscape of gardens and mist laden ranges.

Nag Shampa Estate is composed of 8 oversized bedrooms, ranging from expansive Joglo style, to private pool cottages called Kubu’s. The Istana Suite occupies an entire Joglo to itself and comprises lounge areas, relaxation spaces, and a huge Master Bathroom.

All connected by raised timber walkways, dwellings are filled with a vibrant energy and meaning treasures that are infused with warmth and style.

Nag Shampa understands that each customer is different, and has created a menu that takes into account some of people’s favorites, while still providing food that still pays homage to their own beliefs. The Chefs are local and much of the cuisine is inspired by their own simple style, yet cultural cuisine.
