Get up close with the wildlife in open-top vehicle game drives with experienced guides, venture out on a walking safari and learn about the African bush and our animals – or just relax next to the pool and soak up the sun. Nambu Camp is the ideal spot for any unforgettable African experience!
Situated within the greater Balule Nature Reserve and 16 km from Hoedspruit, Nambu Camp is home to the Big Five – lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo and rhino. Fences between the Kruger National Park and Balule have been removed, allowing the diverse wildlife freedom to come and go as they please. The Olifant’s River on our north-west border ensures Nambu Camp draws an abundance of birds and animals, attracted by the continuous flow of the river all year round.
Built on an old anthill overlooking the Lowveld in Limpopo, with the mysterious Drakensberg mountain range in the distance, Nambu Camp has been part of the Drinkwater family since 1979. Over the generations, Nambu Camp has imprinted itself on the hearts of many a family member and friend, making the lodge not just a destination, but a home.
