Settle into a luxury villa surrounded by centuries-old olive groves, where you’ll cook alongside your journey host, Chef Kevin Fonzo, in a private kitchen and dine on the terrace at sunset. Of course, villa life doesn’t mean always staying in (tempting as that may be!). You’ll explore the Greek-Roman city of Syracuse with a local guide, go truffle hunting with an Italian chef in the hills near Palazzolo Acreide, and head up the slopes of Mount Etna in a 4x4. There’s Modica’s Baroque beauty, a Michelin-starred dinner in Noto, and plenty of time to soak up Sicilian sunshine — with no multiple unpackings required.
• Touch down in Catania, where your private driver will be waiting to take you to your luxury Sicilian villa.
• On arrival, you’ll be welcomed by your hosts and villa staff, then given a tour of the property.
• Spend the afternoon settling in — unpack, explore, or head straight to the pool with a drink.
• As the sun sets, gather on the terrace for an aperitivo and a wine-paired welcome dinner prepared by Chef Kevin — a warm start to a week of food, wine, and Southern Italy at its best.
• After breakfast, join Chef Kevin for a morning trip to the local market, where he’ll show you how to choose the freshest ingredients — chatting with his favorite producers, bartering for just-ripe tomatoes, and always slipping in a joke or two.
• Back at the villa, roll up your sleeves for a hands-on cooking class, followed by lunch.
• Spend the afternoon your way — perhaps with a poolside nap, a private tasting of the villa estate’s olive oil, or a restorative massage.
• In the evening, gather for a wine-paired dinner at the villa, prepared by Chef Kevin.
• Enjoy breakfast, then set off on a scenic drive to Syracuse for a privately guided tour with a local expert.
• Explore the city’s ancient highlights, including the Roman Amphitheater, the Greek Theatre, and the Orecchio di Dionisio (Ear of Dionysius) — a limestone cave known for its ear shape and mysterious acoustics.
• Relax with a leisurely seaside lunch at a local trattoria, followed by free time to wander Syracuse’s historic streets at your own pace, then return to the villa.
• Dinner is in Noto at the famed Michelin-starred Crocifisso, with wine pairings selected by their sommelier.
• Enjoy a slow morning at the villa.
• Late morning, head to a local winery on the slopes of Mount Etna, where vines grow in mineral-rich volcanic soil that’s been producing wine for more than 3,500 years.
• Here, we have a leisurely private wine tasting and lunch overlooking the vineyards.
• Afterward, board 4x4s for a scenic drive up one of Mount Etna’s ancient lava flows, winding into the Valle del Bove — a vast crater-like basin formed by centuries of eruptions.
• As the sun dips low, descend the mountain and stop for dinner at a local trattoria before returning to the villa.

• After a relaxed breakfast, head to Modica — a hill town known for its Baroque architecture and chocolate history.
• Take a guided stroll through its elegant streets with our local expert, stopping at the Duomo di San Giorgio cathedral and other famous sights along the way.
• Enjoy lunch at leisure in town before we begin the drive back to the villa.
• On the way home, stop at one of our favorite local wineries for a private tour and wine tasting.
• Chef Kevin prepares a Sicilian dinner, which is served under the stars and paired with wines from the region.
• Start your day with breakfast — perhaps in the garden, if the mood and weather allow.
• Then we head to Palazzolo Acreide, a Baroque town in southeast Sicily, for a truffle hunting experience in the nearby hills, guided by local Chef Andrea.
• After the hunt, sit down to a truffle-themed lunch.
• On the way back to the villa, we visit a local cheese farm for a private tasting.
• Dinner is once again prepared by Chef Kevin at the villa, paired with spectacular Sicilian wines.
• Spend your final day in Sicily your way. Enjoy a long morning by the pool, a leisurely lunch (available at the villa), or ask your travel concierge or hosts to arrange something extra — rent a boat for the afternoon or set off on a full-day outing to Taormina.
• In the evening, gather for a celebratory farewell dinner prepared by Chef Kevin and a local nonna — a true homage to the flavors of Sicily, paired with some of your favorite wines from the week.
• Savor one last breakfast at the villa before your private transfer to the airport.

Travel insurance, once purchased, goes into effect upon payment of the premium. You have 15 days from that date to cancel it (providing no claims have been filed or initiated during that period). Beyond 15 days, it becomes non-refundable/non-changeable/non-transferrable.
In case of a cancelation at more than 90 days prior to departure, your deposit will be returned minus a $250 per person administrative fee.
