Today's itinerary features waterfalls and geysers as you travel along the picturesque ring road towards Iceland's cherished Gullfoss waterfall, celebrated for its breathtaking beauty and power. We will admire this two-tiered waterfall from various observation points, showcasing its volcanic rock formation. Our journey also takes us to Strokkur Geysir, famous for its frequent eruptions, perfect for iconic photos. Tonight, after dinner at leisure, we will venture out to view the Northern Lights from Iceland's only observatory, weather permitting.
Iceland is home to around 10,000 waterfalls, and today we will explore some stunning examples on the southeastern stretch of Iceland. Our first stop is Seljalandsfoss, with its impressive 200-foot drop and the unique opportunity to walk behind the cascading water. Next, we’ll visit Skogafoss, one of Iceland's largest waterfalls, set against dramatic cliffs and lush greenery. You may recognize this breathtaking vista from popular productions such as Game of Thrones or Thor. We’ll then head to Reynisfjara, a striking black sand beach with towering basalt columns, before concluding our day at the charming Vik Myrdal Church. This evening, we’ll gather for dinner at Berg Restaurant, sharing stories of our adventures while enjoying exquisite regional cuisine.
Our expedition persists along the southeastern stretch of Iceland, leading us to Katla, a subglacial volcano, where we will embark on a unique Iceland adventure, stepping into the mighty glaciers and ice caves. After a lovely lunch at a local pizzeria, the afternoon brings us to our next destination, where you are invited to unwind and relax in the hotel's hot tub and sauna. If the weather permits, we enjoy a sunset at Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon, featured prominently in the James Bond franchise, and the unparalleled beauty of Diamond Beach. After a day filled with visual enchantment and profound experiences, the evening dinner is at leisure.
Today, our journey takes us to explore the mesmerizing ice cave at Vatnajökull, Europe's largest glacier, adding an extra layer of awe to our adventure. Our early bird ice cave tour has us arriving at a much quieter ice cave with few to no people inside of it. On top of that, our professional photographer will capture a few magical photographs of you inside the cave to cherish the memories of your adventure. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure, why not ask our concierge team to book a classic boat tour of Fjallsárlón iceberg lagoon. This evening, we meet to enjoy a lovely dinner at the property together.
This morning, our journey leads us to the capital of Iceland, Reykjavik. On our way we embark on a picturesque flight (weather permitting) over the recent volcanic eruption site where we enjoy a bird's eye view of the breathtaking scenery and newly formed land. After our flight, we set of on a walking food tour to experience Reykjavik's culinary scene. After a fun filled day, the rest of the evening is at leisure, allowing you to explore more of Reykjavik or enjoy our property for the next two nights, the Reykjavik Konsulat Hotel.
This morning, weather permitting, we set out on a thrilling adventure of whale watching and wildlife exploration. Subsequently, the afternoon provide an opportunity to immerse ourselves in the city's offerings. This includes savoring our special farewell dinner, making the most of our time in Reykjavik.

Travel insurance, once purchased, goes into effect upon payment of the premium. You have 15 days from that date to cancel it (providing no claims have been filed or initiated during that period). Beyond 15 days, it becomes non-refundable/non-changeable/non-transferrable.
In case of a cancelation at more than 90 days prior to departure, your deposit will be returned minus a $500 per person administrative fee.
