Welcome to Fez. Upon arrival, your Art In Voyage hosts meet and take you to your accommodation for the next three nights. A private walking tour uncover's the bustling alleyways of Fez's medina, or old city. In the evening, we will gather for a welcome dinner arranged by our hosts at one of our favorite eateries to enjoy some of the finest Moroccan and Lebanese dishes.
After breakfast, we head to the center of the medina to experience a traditional Moroccan cooking class. En route, we'll visit the souk in Fez to select the freshest ingredients, the make our way to a traditional Moroccan home, or 'Riad.' Here you will acquaint yourself with the subtleties of authentic Moroccan cuisine, led by our private chef. After relishing the lunch made during the lesson, we return to the hotel for an evening at leisure.
Today, we drive through miles of vineyards and olive groves to Meknes, one of Morocco's four imperial cities. Here, you will discover the region's grand history and explore its expansive souks. In the afternoon, we will visit one of Morocco’s best wineries for a tasting and delicious lunch. Afterward, we make our way back to our hotel in Fez, where you will dine at one of the impeccable eateries recommended by your Art In Voyage hosts.
After breakfast, we travel to a highlight of any Moroccan experience, Marrakech, where we will settle into our accommodation for the next two nights. Relax, with a Royal Hammam Spa-treatment, and end the day by indulging in a delicious traditional dinner, served on the property.
Today, we depart for a private guided walking tour of Marrakech, exploring the bustling medina and discovering the vibrant bazaars and markets. Enjoy traditional music, snake charming, and spontaneous acrobatic performances from the locals. A well-deserved lunch will be held at one of our favorite rooftop restaurants, after which we will return to the hotel for a relaxing dinner.
After a hearty breakfast, we will journey to Ouarzazate, a Morocco travel must, also known as the 'door of the desert.' Here, you will be warmly welcomed to your luxurious hotel for the next two nights.
Today we embark on a full day of excursions and exciting activities. After breakfast, we will depart for one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, which has been restored yet maintains its authenticity. Here, you will meet the craftsmen such as potters and ironmongers and enjoy lunch on the edge of Ouarzazate Lake. Your evening will be at leisure.
In keeping with the Art in Voyage tradition, we end our journey on a high note. In the morning, we depart for a lengthy, but beautiful journey towards the edge of Morocco's Sahara Desert. En route, we stop for a picnic spread in an oasis, and later in the afternoon, we arrive at our private camp for a glamping experience in the desert. A traditional welcome awaits our arrival, after which, we set off for a sunset camel ride in the dunes. A breathtaking night sky approaches, and we wind down the day with an authentic dinner with entertainment.
Breakfast will be served amid an exquisite desert sunrise, after which, your adventure within the diverse landscape will begin. This includes guided walks, light excursions, picnic lunches, sundowners in the dunes, and dinner beneath the desert stars.
After a leisurely morning, we make our way to Ouarzazate airport, where you will be transferred to Casablanca, the largest city in Morocco. Here, you will spend your last night in Morocco at the delightful Four Seasons Hotel, located on the water’s edge.
There is no rush today, seeing as most departing flights are only scheduled for mid-afternoon. Kick-back and indulge in a traditional Spa treatment or we would be happy to assist in arranging a private tour of the world-renowned Casablanca.
Our day-to-day itinerary may, from time to time and prior to departure, need to be altered or slightly modified to address possible unforeseen logistical and weather challenges. In such rare instances, Art In Voyage guarantees delivery of the content of the itinerary yet, in a different order.
All listed retreats (hotels, villas, and barges) are, at times, subject to changes. In such rare instances, similar or higher standards will be upheld.
Travel insurance, once purchased, goes into effect upon payment of the premium. You have 15 days from that date to cancel it (providing no claims have been filed or initiated during that period). Beyond 15 days, it becomes non-refundable/non-changeable/non-transferrable.
In case of a cancelation at more than 90 days prior to departure, your deposit will be returned minus a $750 per person administrative fee.
In case of a cancelation within the penalty period: Find a replacement at least 30 days prior to departure and your journey will be fully refunded, minus a $750 per person administrative fee.
