After a laid back breakfast, our Chef accompanies us to the famous Portland farmers market. Explore Portland’s best food carts, historic neighborhood and iconic bridges on this city-wide culinary jaunt. Meet the foodies running the various Portland establishments, hear their stories, and indulge in award-winning dishes that represent different global cultures. We watch the sun set over the city from the aerial tram, followed by cocktails at one of our favorite rooftop bars. Enjoy a leisurely dinner, with our recommendations.
After a relaxing morning, we gather for a traditional Oregon brunch at "Beast", a James Beard award-winning restaurant. We then board a private boat for a river tour of the Willamette River, complete with delicious wines from the region. Relax for the rest of the day in the comfort of our impeccable hotel, or for those interested in venturing outside of town, your AIV hosts will gladly assist in organizing a hike. In the evening, lovely dinner venues will be suggested.
On our last day in Portland, we introduce you to the city's distilleries and breweries. Between hands-on cocktail classes and tours of the breweries, we enjoy lunch, on your own account, at an amazing eatery. We end the day with a private chocolate tour.
Explore Portland’s chocolate scene, ride the streetcar on a loop around the east and west sides of the city and learn about how the city has become renowned for its chocolate. We visit chocolate-makers to become more knowledgeable about the varieties of chocolate and how to taste their intricate flavors. We spend the evening at leisure and your hosts will recommend lovely restaurants in the area.

After breakfast, we depart for the coast. While your luggage is being transferred to our next home, we drive in the opposite direction to visit Oregon's famous Cannon Beach. Tucked along the northern coastline, culinary treats exclusive to the Pacific Northwest await.

After a full day, we are welcomed at our next impeccable home with dinner, paired with local wines.
This morning, our chef takes us "foraging" for mushrooms, one of the reasons guests flock to the region. After drive winding up Marys Peak, west of Corvallis, we arrive in the Siuslaw National Forest. Envisage dense forest, perfect for mushroom hunting and kept lush by the coast, which you can see on a clear day. After a picnic, we return to Newberg and en-route visit McMinville where we stop for several wine tastings. In the evening, dinner is at leisure, with our recommendations.
This morning if the weather permits, we suggest a hot air balloon ride over the vineyards as the sun rises (on your own account). Or you could simply take time to relax and enjoy the comfort of the property. Our travel concierge will be available to assist in organizing activities including, hiking or kayaking. For those interested in experiencing more food and wine on their own account, your hosts have an eventful day planned. From local farms to extraordinary wineries, we assure you that you will be satisfied. In the evening, we gather for a unique "Field & Vine" dinner, a tradition in Oregon' summer month.
